I’ve taken a sip of that Kool-Aid that friends and the web community has been passing around the table; so far, tasty but we’ll see how long the hype lasts. I think the concept of putting ones material out for viewing has been a consistent desire in all of history but it’s just been made easier and more convienient for people to become heard, voices loud and clear and present.
I’ve been thinking about peer pressure and how it’s everywhere! You often think of this pressure as only existing between the ages of 11 and 21, but does it really end there? I’ve had more pressure in my life in the past 2 years to affect the next 50. Is it any more significant than the decisions we make as kids, probably not; it’s all proportional when you really think about it. When you decide to take that first drink of liquor or beer or smoke a joint, that’s a big deal folks and I have a feeling that around the corner, there will be more where that came from.
